30 before 30

No it is not some awesome list of things I want to do in my 20's, after all, I got married, had kids, started a career, made music, and many other things in that time.

 What this is, is a revamp, you see because, I dont have a lot of time before 30, in fact it is now less than a month. So I want my 30 before 30 to be 30 blog posts, there are only 28 days left, which means there will be some doubles, but with any luck, you will see me posting regularly again...

Blogging is a habit, but it will disappear quickly the longer you go away from it. ok, you choose, does this count as post #1. Or should I get creative?

Guitar Picks

Do you or someone you know,  play guitar?   If so then you probably know the value of a pick.   It helps immensly in being able to play individual strings,  as well as strum without getting the nasty blisters.

Picks come in various thicknesses from a light flimsy feel,  to a very thick heavy one.

If you find yourself in a bind,  and need a pick on the fly,  or if you are looking to do something with that expired credit card other than just toss it,  you can easily cut it into guitar picks.

Our 4th of July

We love going to my family camp for the 4th. It is a great gathering place, and there is water to swim in, how could you go wrong?

 This year reminded me of those growing up, as all the kiddos are now old enough to participate in all those activities I loved as a kid. We always try to rep the red white and blue on the 4th...

Combine all that with beautiful weather,  and this view,  and its a pretty good day.  Clouds did roll in cancelling fireworks,  but otherwise,  we had a blast!!
