How to Ripen Tomatoes
So that perfect tomato you have been watching fell off the vine, but wasn't quite ready to pick yet! Or maybe your "garden helpers" picked a few less than red beauties.
NO PROBLEM!!
All they really need now that they have stopped growing is some sun.
Simply place the orangy tomato on the window sill, and rotate every few days so a different side faces outward.
In less than a week you will have beautiful ripe red tomatoes!

Ah, I didn't know this! A lot of our new garden is dying because it was such a hot summer, and we had to pick a TON of stuff yesterday that wasn't ready. At least the tomatoes will be okay!
