So Duncan is 9 months old now, which I understand to be about 5 in dog years. Based on my experience with a 5 year old, this means he will be stubborn, opinionated, loving, hyper, loud, and mischievous.
Well last night was no exception. We do have a door on the bathroom (I think it would be odd not to, but figured I would throw that little fact in there) but when you have 2 boys running around sometimes the door is left open.
Duncan has been into the bathroom on numerous occasions and it is not always a problem, however sometimes he likes to play with the toilet paper. We determined last night, that he will only play with it if it is a new full roll, if it is half gone it doesn’t get touched.
When Duncan is being quiet it is usually a bad thing, so I went to see what he was up to… no good as anticipated.
He was sternly reprimanded, which isn’t easy when you are being looked at with those eyes. I let him stay up with us thinking his mischievous acts surely were over for the evening… Wrong again. The power cord to my laptop was dangling off the coffee table, and he took it upon himself to teach me that isn’t where it goes. At least it wasn’t plugged in, or maybe a good shock is what he needs.
We love him regardless, but I am exited for this stage to be over.

ReplyDeleteHe chewed through the cord!? Talk about persistence.
ReplyDeleteawe! trouble, but adorable! we used to always have to keep our bathroom door closed with our family golden because he would steal kleenex out of the garbage. he LOVED kleenex. oh and napkins, if you left a napkin on your lap he would snatch it up and eat it!
ReplyDeletethey can be a pain, but the are so damn cute :)
Aww it's a good thing he's so cute!
ReplyDeleteYes agreed, that is why I added the last picture, he is cute... but he is lucky that he is so cute, or he would have been in a lot more trouble.
ReplyDeleteAwww. Look at that face! How could you stay mad for long?
ReplyDeletePuppies...gotta love 'em!!! We have to keep the bathroom door shut too. Between the toilet paper and the tissues in the trash, our 4 year old lab mix, can't resist. It's the only thing she still get into!
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwwww, he's sooooo cute! If you ever get tired of him, you can ship him over to me in California! He can chew on anything he wants here :)
